Phase 1b – (Bootable Non-Multilingual Installation CD)
NOTE:
If your hard drive contains data or is not new, HP recommends using a utility such as
Fdisk
to erase all data and partitions from your hard drive.
1.
Insert Novell Netware 6.0 SBS CD-ROM and boot the system.
2.
Read the license agreement and click
Agree
if you agree with the terms and
conditions within the license.
3.
Click
Next
to "
Create a New Boot Partition
". HP recommends
modifying
Size of boot partition
to create a 1000MB boot partition.
4.
If you accept erasing all data on your disk, select
Next
for your system to create
the partition, reboot, and format that partition.
5.
Choose “
Advanced Installation” and select “Change IP
Address from default.
” Press
Next
, then press
Next
again to begin the
installation.
6.
Insert the License Diskette. Press
OK
.
7.
Proceed to Phase 2 to continue.
Phase 1c – (Bootable Multilingual Installation CD)
1.
Boot to the Multilingual Installation CD.
2.
Select the language that you wish to use.
3.
Select
Accept License Agreement
and hit
Enter
.
4.
Select
Create a New Boot Partition
and hit
Enter
.
5.
Select
Modify
and hit
Enter
.
6.
HP recommends using 1000MB for the DOS partition size.
7.
Select
Continue
and hit
Enter
.
8.
Select
Continue
if you are ready to create a new partition, remove all data on the
selected drive, and format the disk. Hit
Enter
.
9.
Press any key to reboot.
