Configuring remote logging
This feature allows for sending library events to a remote syslog server. The data sent only includes the
ticket information generated by library software. No low level logs generated by the Linux and other
applications will be sent to the remote server.
Only non-encrypted remote logging is supported.
Procedure
1.
Navigate to the
Configuration > Network Management > Remote Logging (rsyslog)
screen.
2.
Enable remote logging, if necessary, by selecting
Remote Logging Enabled
.
When
Remote Logging Enabled
is selected, the library can send library events to the configured
Remote Logging Server
server.
3.
In
Notification Level
, select the level of severity of events to be sent as SNMP traps. The default is
+Warning
.

Inactive
-No events are sent.
•
Critical
-Only Critical events are sent.
•
+Warning
-Critical and Warning events are sent.
