operating system supports booting from a
USB CD-ROM.
The drive or the media
inserted is unclean.
Clean the drive and media.
A paper or plastic label
has been applied to the
surface of the CD or DVD
in use.
Remove the label and any adhesive
residue.
Data read from CD-ROM
or DVD drive is
inconsistent, or drive
cannot read data.
The inserted CD or DVD
format may be invalid for
this drive, such as a DVD
disc in a non-DVD drive.
Replace the CD or DVD with valid media
for the drive.
