Creating Usernames and Passwords in the Browser Interface
You may want to create both a username and password to create access
security for your hub. Note that both a username and password are not
required to use the Browser Interface. You can create two types of usernames
and passwords:
operator. These strings assign you read privileges for the Browser Inter-
face.
manager. These strings assign you read-write privileges. The manager
strings are used as your defaults for Hub Console Interface access. Strings
you assign in the manager fields will overwrite previous access strings
assigned for both the Browser Interface and the Hub Console Interface.
Creating Operator Usernames and Password
To create an operator username and password, perform the following steps:
1. Click in the Operator User Name box and type a string. The string may be
separated by spaces and may include any ASCII character in it. The string
may be no longer than 16 characters, including spaces. Spaces are allowed
in the string.
