54 Chapter 6 Operating the press

ENWW

Turning the press on and off

Turning the press on

Turn on the main circuit breaker at the rear of the machine and wait for the
control panel to appear on the screen (this may take several minutes).

When a prompt appears, press the

Power Enable

switch on the input side of the

press. The press is now in Standby state.

Turning the press off

On the control panel, click the

System

menu,

and then select

Shutdown.

The

Shutdown

window appears.

Select an option and click

. Wait for the computer to completely shut down, which

may take a few minutes, and then turn off the main circuit breaker at the rear of the
machine. The system is now shut down.
