Important:
Before beginning the next section of tests, make sure that the following
cables are connected to the in-line finisher interface cables:
Cable CC71
from the
printing engine 2 junction box
to the interface cable
from the inline finisher.
Cable 261 10180
from the cabinet
M1 X52/53
interlock cable to the interface
interlock cable from the finisher.
Make sure that the press Software is at Standby status beginning the next
procedures.
Emergency stop tests
1.
Verify that when the master console unit emergency stop button is pressed,
all
the following
occur:
At the press MMI and Hunkeler finishing unit touch screen panels
a.
The touch screen panels display that the units are switched to the OFF/ Stopped
status.
At the press electrical cabinets
b.
All LEDs of relays 33k0, 33k2 33k3 33k5 and m1k1 should be
OFF
.
NOTE:
When the Emergency pushbutton is released, the LEDs of
relay 33k0 are on; all the remaining relays are OFF and will
switch on after the Control On button is pressed the unwinder
touch screen panel.
At the Hunkeler finishing unit
c.
Relay PNOZ/X1 A5 must be
OFF
.
2.
Release the emergency stop button at the master consol.
3.
Press the emergency stop button at the Hunkeler finishing unit and verify that
all
the following
occur:
At the press MMI and Hunkeler finishing unit touch screen panels
a.
The touch screen panels display that the units are switched to the OFF/ Stopped
status.
At the press electrical cabinets
b.
All LEDs of relays 33k0, 33k2 33k3 33k5 and m1k1 should be
OFF
.
NOTE:
When the Emergency pushbutton is released, the LEDs of
relay 33k0 are on; all the remaining relays are OFF and will

At the Hunkeler finishing unit
c.
Both relays PNOZ/X1 A1 and PNOZ/X1 A5 should switch OFF.
