Antennas
The antennas route from the WLAN module to the front and the rear of the computer.
Before removing the antennas, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (
Preparation for disassembly on page 20
).
2.
Remove the access panel (
3.
Remove the front bezel (
).
4.
Remove the drive cage (
).
Remove the antennas:
1.
Disconnect the internal antennas from the WLAN module (
).
2.
Remove the antenna cable from the clips on the inside of the I/O bracket.
3.
Remove the Torx screw that secures the antenna to the front of the computer (1).
4.
Pull the antenna through the hole and away from the computer (2).
5.
On the inside of the chassis, remove the rear antenna cable from the routing path in the chassis wall.
