Remove the three Torx T5 2.0 × 7.0 screws (1) and the two Torx T5 M2.0 × 4.0 screws (2) that secure the
bottom cover to the computer.

2.

Use a nonmarking, nonconductive tool to release the top of the cover from the computer (1).

3.

Remove the bottom cover from the computer (2).

To replace the bottom cover, reverse the removal procedures.

Battery

To remove the battery, use this procedure and illustration.
