Creating a Limit Line
This C programming example does the following:
• Open an HP-IB session at address 18.
• Clear the analyzer.
• Reset the analyzer.
• Set the input port to the 50 MHz amplitude reference.
• Delete any current limit line.
• Define the upper limit line to have frequency/amplitude pairs.
• Define the lower limit line to have frequency/amplitude pairs.
• Turn the limit line test function on.
• Set the analyzer to a center frequency of 50 MHz, span to 20 MHz,
and resolution bandwidth to 1 MHz.
• Turn the limit line test function on.
• Set the analyzer reference level to 0 dBm.
• Activate the 50 MHz Alignment signal.
• Check to see if limit line passes or fails. It should pass
• Pause for 5 seconds.
• Deactivate the 50 MHz alignment signal
• The limit line test should fail.
• Close the session.
