HP X1000 Network Storage Systems are enhanced Windows-powered shared storage solutions for your
small or medium business, branch office, or workgroup environment. They are built on industry-standard
HP ProLiant servers and come with the Microsoft® Windows Storage Server 2008 operating system pre-
installed. Like many Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices, they connect via Ethernet, offer optimized
file serving for heterogeneous clients, and are designed to install in minutes. They can also connect to
servers or virtual machines to host application storage with the included iSCSI target. Since HP X1000
Network Storage Systems are Windows-based, integration into your Windows environment is easy, your
