F. Firmware Updates

Firmware Update Process

How to Update Firmware

You can receive a firmware update on the following media:

 •

as a download from the internet,

 •

on CD-ROM, or

 •

on floppy disks.

How to Update Firmware from the Internet

You can download the firmware update from the Internet as a self-
extracting file. Click on the self-extracting file to extract all
necessary files. Then click on

readme.txt

 for further

information on installing the firmware.

How to Update Firmware from CD-ROM

If the instrument’s firmware is supplied to you on CD-ROM, insert
the CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive of your personal computer.
Access the CD-ROM drive, and click on

readme.txt

for further

information on installing the firmware.

How to Update Firmware from Floppy Disk

If the instrument’s firmware is supplied to you on floppy disk, insert
the floppy disk in the floppy disk drive of your personal computer.
