Parameters
-a
source-ip
: Specifies the source IP address of the Echo Request messages.
-exp
exp-value
: Specifies the EXP value for the Echo Request messages. The
exp-value
parameter ranges
from 0 to 7 and defaults to 0.
-h
ttl-value
: Specifies the TTL value for the Echo Request messages. The
ttl-value
parameter ranges from 1
to 255 and defaults to 30.
-r
reply-mode
: Specifies the reply mode of the receiver in response to an Echo Request message. The
reply-mode
parameter can be 1 or 2, where 1 means “Do not respond” and 2 means “Respond using a
UDP packet.” The default is 2.
-t
time-out
: Specifies the timeout interval for waiting for the response to an echo request message. The
time-out
parameter ranges from 0 to 65,535 and defaults to 2000, in milliseconds.
