aging-time
time
: Sets an aging timer in seconds for system-guard, in the range of 30 to 600.
Description
Use the
system-guard aging-time
command to configure an aging timer for system-guard assigned ACLs
and system-guard disabled ports. When an ACL is assigned to a port or a port is shut down upon
system-guard detects an attack on the port, the aging timer starts. When the aging timer expires, the
switch removes the ACL or brings up the port.
Use the
undo system-guard aging-time
command to restore the default.
By default, the aging time is 60 seconds.

Description
Use the
system-guard control
command to enable the system-guard control function on the port.
Use the
undo system-guard control
command to disable the system-guard control function on the port.
The system-guard assigned ACLs do not take effect on some types of attack packets, such as IGMP
packets. When such attack packets are detected on a port, the switch shuts down the port if the
system-guard control function is enabled on the port.
