Remove the touchpad:

1.

Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (1).

2.

Remove the three Phillips broadhead M2.0 × 2.0 screws (2) that secure the touchpad to the computer.

3.

Lift the top of the touchpad up slightly (3), and then pull the touchpad into the computer to remove it
(4).

Reverse this procedure to install the touchpad.

I/O board

To remove the I/O board, use this procedure and illustration.
