Setting procedure:
If you have to make a setting on the venturi,
always check both flue gas values.
For example: set upper value - check lower
value - value is not correct - set lower value -
check upper value - ...
1. Start the «Emission» menu on the control module.
- The control automatically switches to normal oper-
ation after 20 min.
2.
Position emission meter in the flue gas line.
3. Set the boiler to maximum output (100%).
4. Set the CO
2
(O
2
) value by turning throttle screw C.
-
The flue gas value must lie in the following range:
CO
2
= 8.5 - 8.8 (O
2
= 5.9 - 5.5) % by vol. (dry)
Factory setting: throttle screw C
Type (850/1000): 12.7 mm = 5.3 rotations
Type (1150): 14.5 mm = 6 rotations
after the closed condition
(850/1000) = 12.7 mm
(1
150) = 14.5 mm

5. Set the boiler to minimum output (1%).
6. Set CO
2
(O
2
) value by turning offset screw D.
-
The flue gas value must lie in the following range:
CO
2
= 8.5 - 8.8 (O
2
= 5.9 - 5.5) % by vol. (dry)
7. Measure the NOx and CO content.
- The measured values must lie within the limits pre-
scribed by law. Higher values indicate faulty burner
setting, dirt build-up on the gas burner or heat ex-
changer or a defective gas burner.
§
If the legal limit values or 150 ppm CO are
exceeded, the boiler must be taken out of op-
eration and corresponding repair measures
arranged.
8. Close the «Emission» menu on the control module.
