BURNER WILL
NOT IGNITE WHEN
TRIGGER GUN
IS OPEN
Burner switch is off.
Turn switch on.
Loose electrical connections.
Tighten electrical connection.
Gas valve off.
Turn gas valve on.
Pressure switch not operative.
Test pressure switch and replace if defective.
Manual valve on
gas supply line is closed.
Open valve.
Low service
supply pressure.
Refer to
Using LP Vapor Gas From A Portable
Bottle or Converting To Natural Gas, and sections
on how to check and set incoming pressure.
Ai in gas line.
Refer to
Before Starting, step 10.
Defective pilot flame rod.
Replace.
Defective primary regulator.
Replace.
Defective gas valve.
Replace.
Pump switch turned off.
Pump must be running before burner will light.
Inadequate water supply.
Fully open faucet. Check for kinked or
damaged hose. Use 5/8 inch minimum
hose. Check for debris clogging inlet screen.
Trigger of trigger
gun released.
Squeeze trigger. Water must
be spraying for burner to light.
Adjustable thermostat
setting is too low.
Raise temperature setting.
BURNER
SMOKES OR HAS
OBNOXIOUS ODOR
