• If used as a toaster, the bread may burn if overcooked, therefore do
not use the appliance near or below combustible material.
• Let the appliance cool after each use.
• Use the product only in a vertical position.
INSTALLATION
• Installation, including water supply (if any) and electrical connec-
tions, and repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician. Do not
repair or replace any part of the appliance unless specifically stated in
the user manual. Keep children away from the installation site. After
unpacking the appliance, make sure that it has not been damaged dur-
ing transport. In the event of problems, contact the dealer or your near-
est After-sales Service. Once installed, packaging waste (plastic, Styro-
foam parts etc.) must be stored out of reach of children - risk of
suffocation. The appliance must be disconnected from the power sup -
ply before any installation operation - risk of electrical shock. During
installation, make sure the appliance does not damage the power cable
- risk of fire or electrical shock. Only activate the appliance when the
installation has been completed.
• Place the appliance on a dry steady flat surface such as a counter
or table. Keep it away from the edge of the work surface. Do not place
the appliance near a heat source - Risk of fire. Do not install the appli -
ance with restricted ventilation.
• Do not keep flammable materials such as alcohol, petrol or aero -
sols nearby the appliance - Risk of explosion or fire.
• Remove the protective film before use.
ELECTRICAL WARNINGS
• Ensure that the appliance is connected to an electrical source hav-
ing values within those specified on appliance rating label.
