Chapter 3. Total Parenteral Nutrition

Hospira GemStar System Operating Manual

TPN Auto Taper Down

Auto Taper Down is available only if a Taper Down time was entered during

programming. Auto Taper Down may be activated when the continuous delivery

portion of a TPN with Taper Down protocol is stopped. Auto Taper Down is not

available while the pump is in an alarm condition.
