Maize distributor
WARNING
Hazard from harmful dressing dust.

The exhaust air must not be blown into the
environment.
¾
Observe the safety data sheet of the dressing
manufacturer.
With the maize distributor all Pronto DC, except
for the 6 DC, with electrical half-width shut-off
can be used for maize drilling (double row) at
large row spacing.
For this purpose maize distributors for different
row spacing can be mounted on the distributor
tower.

Loosen the wing screws on the distributor lid
and remove the lid.
¾
Plug on the maize distributor and fasten the
screws.
¾
Remove the seed hoses from the coulters
intended for maize drilling from the main
distributor and connect them with the maize
distributor.
¾
Close the outlets of the main distributor from
which hoses were removed with a stopper
(Art. No. 23011002).

If necessary, mount the tram line valves and
seed flow sensors of the main distributor to
the maize distributor.
¾
When converting the tram line valves and
seed flow sensor adjust the configuration on
the terminal of the E-Manager.
Follow the operating instructions of the
E-Manager, Configuration section.
¾
Prepare the metering unit for coarse seeds.
Follow the Metering unit section in this regard.
¾
Set the fan speed to approx. 3,500 rpm.
NOTE
Negative effects on seed transport, placing
quantity and transverse distribution.
¾
Do not close too many distributor outlets with
the plugs. Check the seed quality before be -
ginning to drill.
