Calibration
The calibration sequence and the input on the
terminal is identical with the calibration for seed/
fertiliser.
NOTE
Initial use
The metering units must first run in during initial
use.
¾
During initial use repeat calibration after one
hour running.
NOTE
Running-in period
The metering auger must run in before calibra-
tion or before filling with seed/granulate.
¾
Allow the metering augers to run in for at least
10 min. before calibration.
¾
Remove the rear hose and attach the cali-
bration bag.
¾
Select and install the metering auger.
¾
Fill the hopper with granulate.
¾
Run the metering auger for at least 10 min.
so that it is completely filled and calibration
will not be falsified (see E-Manager -
filling the
metering cells
).
¾
Run the calibration and enter the calibration
weight (see E-Manager instructions).
¾
Drilling can be started if the appropriate speed
range is displayed after entering the weight.
¾
If the indicated speed range is not suitable for
drilling, the metering auger may need to be re-
placed and the calibration process repeated.
Hose assembly
Different hose assemblies may be used depend

ing on the configuration:

Metering unit:
Hose ø 110 mm
•
Metering auger: Hose ø 75 mm
(reducing pipe
ø 110 mm → ø 75 mm)
A reducing pipe for the hose assembly on the
tractor can be mounted to the pipe elbow (op-
tion).
Reducing pipe ø 110 mm → ø 140 mm
