Every 20 Hours
In order to prevent faults caused by dirty sensors
in the seed tube and to avoid impairments in the
placement of seeds, the message “clean seed
tube every day and check function of firming
wheels” is displayed after 20 hours when the
system is switched on the next time.
Parking the Machine
Indoors the machine can be folded and parked.
Outdoors water could run into the seed tubes
when parked in the folded position. Deposits
could also build up in rims and crevices around
the seed sensor. This would impair the function
when in use.
Maintenance
•
Clean the seed tubes every day with the
supplied brush. Check for correct
installation, and that it is fastened tight.
In case of excessive dirt, clean several
times a day.
• Check the pipe outlet every day. The
outlet must not be damaged, or seed
placement will be affected.
•
Check the gasket at the top of the seed
tube inlet. The connection must be leak
tight so that no foreign particles can fall
in causing incorrect seed signals.
