* Energetic utilization
is the recovery of energy contained in plastic
materials by incineration while, at the same
time, using this energy for the generation of
electric current and/or steam or the provision of
process heat.
The energetic utilization is most suitable for
mixed or soiled plastics, especially for contami-
nated plastics fractions.
