9.1.6.4 Winter storage
1.
Fill the fresh water tank with approx. 100
litres of anti-freeze agent. Use only ap-
proved anti-freeze agents!
2.
On the terminal switch on internal clean-
ing (f), so that the piston diaphragm
pump draws in anti-freeze agent.
3.
On the terminal switch off internal
cleaning (f).
4.
On the terminal activate “NightLight”
cleaning (d).
5.
Activate and operate the high pressure
cleaner (optional).
6.
On the C-Box choose fresh water tank
and switch spraying ON (see 3.2).
7.
Switch on the spraying pump. The fresh
water tank is emptied.
8.
On the C-Box select solution tank.
9.
On the C-Box
operate the following
functions for a short while:
9.1
Switch on the induction hopper and open
the quick filling valve for a moment.
9.2
Operate ring line, shock nozzle, canister
purging nozzle, injector and cleaning gun
9.3
Operate internal cleaning.
9.4
Open the residue drain and operate
temporarily.
9.5
Set “Spraying” to ON
10.
Operate the following functions on the
terminal/multi-function handle
:
10.1 Switch on the pressure agitator (e).
10.2 Observe the pressure of the pressure
agitator of min. 1 bar.
10.3 Switch the main sprayer switch on the
multi-function handle on for a moment.
Anti-freeze should come out of the noz-
zles for a short while.
10.4 Switch on the border nozzle for a short
while.
10.5 Open the external pressure output for a
short while.
11.
Remove the pressure gauge and allow
anti-freeze be delivered into the lines.
12.
Store the pressure gauges in a frost
protected environment.
13.
Switch off the spraying pump.
14.
On the C-Box switch all functions OFF.
15.
Empty the air reservoirs.
16.
Empty the water separator of the pres-
sure reducing valve in the middle section
of the boom.
17.
If necessary fill the lubricator with pneu
-
matic oil (see 9.3.).

9.1.7 Returning into service after
winter storage

Drain off the anti-freeze agent.
¾
Dispose of anti-freeze in due form or as speci-
fied by the manufacturer.
¾
Remove all anti-freeze agent. For this purpose
clean the crop protection sprayer and the
boom (see 9.1).
