9. Cleaning, service and
maintenance
WARNING
Danger of crushing, shearing,
cutting, cutting off, being caught,
winding up, being pulled in and

accidental lowering of lifted, unse-
cured machine parts.

accidental starting and unintended
rolling of the tractor/machine com-
bination.
¾
Secure both tractor and machine against ac-
cidental starting and unintended rolling before
you start cleaning, service or maintenance
work on the machine.
¾
Before starting work under the parallelogram
of the folded boom, check the interlocking of
the parallelogram (see 6.2.4).

danger spots!
Assemble all safety features you previously dis-
assembled for the purpose of cleaning, service
and maintenance work on the machine.
Replace defective protective features with new
ones. For this purpose use only original parts from
HORSCH LEEB Application Systems GmbH.
DANGER
When performing maintenance, ser-
vice and maintenance work strictly
comply with the safety notes, es-
pecially chapter 1.7.13 "Spraying
operation"!
The performance of service and maintenance
work under machine parts in raised position is
only permitted, if these machine parts have been
positively secured against accidental lowering.
Before each start-up
1. Check hoses, pipes and connecting parts
for apparent faults or leaking connections.
2. Remedy chafed sections on hoses and
pipes.
3. Immediately replace worn or damaged
hoses and pipes.
4. Seal leaking connections immediately.
