7.1 Coupling the machine
WARNING
Danger of breakage during operation, insuf-
ficient stability and inadequate steering and
braking ability of the tractor if used for purposes
other than those intended!
Only connect machine to tractors which are
suitable for this purpose.
WARNING
Danger of crushing between tractor and crop
protection sprayer when coupling!
Before coupling the towed crop protection
sprayer have persons leave the danger zone
between tractor and machine.
Any helpers present should only act as guides
next to tractor and crop protection sprayer and
should only step between the vehicles after
stopped.
WARNING
Persons may be endangered by crushing, be-
ing caught, pulled in and impact, if the machine
accidentally disconnects from the tractor!

Use any dedicated facilities for connecting
tractor and machine as intended.

Check visually whether the connection is cor-
rectly interlocked.
CAUTION
Danger of damage to the high pressure cleaner
and loss of oil!
When using tractors without Load-Sensing hy-
draulics (LS) , connect the lines for supply and
return flow correctly.
WARNING
Danger caused by power supply failure between
tractor and machine caused by damaged sup-
ply lines!
When coupling the supply lines, pay attention
to the routing of the lines:

Supply lines must be free of tension, kinking
or friction and easily follow all movements of
the attached or towed machine.

The supply lines should not rub against for-
eign parts.
Procedure
1. Instruct persons to leave the danger zone
between tractor and crop protection sprayer
before backing the tractor up to the machine.
2. Back up the tractor to the crop protection
sprayer and secure against unintentional
starting and rolling away.
3. Connect the machine to the adjustable draw-
bar or ball head coupling on the tractor.
4. Connect hydraulic hoses, brake system lines
and cables for lighting.
5. Connect the sprayer controls to the ISOBUS
socket on the tractor.
6. Connect the PTO-shaft pump to the tractor
(optional).
7. Operate the control unit for the parking sup-
port and fold in the support.
8. Remove the wheel chocks.
9. Release the parking brake of the crop protec-
tion sprayer by means of the crank.
NOTE
Check all plug-and-socket connections (hydrau-
lic, electric and pneumatic) for cleanliness and
firm seating.
Dirty connectors will contaminate the flowing
media. The connectors therefore become worn
and this results in malfunctions and failures in
the connected assembly groups.
