8.6.2 Eliminating residual
quantities
NOTE
Make sure that the residual quantity in the
spraying line will be sprayed out in the form of
undiluted concentration.
¾
Strictly spray this residual amount from the
spraying line on an untreated area.
¾
Refer to the chapter "Technical residual quanti-
ties" for the travel distance required to spray
the residual quantity in the spraying line. The
residual quantity in the spraying line depends
on the working width of the folding boom.
¾
Once the residual quantity in the solution tank
has reached a level of just 100 litres switch
off the agitator to spray the spraying mixture
container empty.
With the agitator switched on the technical
residual quantity increases in contrast to the
specified values.
¾
The user protection measures do apply
when emptying residual quantities; follow
the instructions of the crop protection agent
manufacturers and wear appropriate protec-
tive clothes.
¾
Dispose of the collected residual spraying
mixture quantities in accordance with the
generally valid statutory regulations.
¾
Collect the residual spraying mixture quanti-
ties in suitable containers.
¾
Allow the residual spraying mixture quantities
to dry up.
¾
Dispose of the residual spraying mixture
quantities in the specified way.
8.6.3 Draining off technical
residual quantities
A port is provided under the spraying mixture
tank for draining the technical residual quantity.
Port with cap
1. Take off the covering cap.
2. Place a suitable collection vessel under the
port for draining off the remaining quantity.
3. Activate the Residual drain function on page 3
on the external control terminal.
4. Deactivate the function after drainage.
5. Properly dispose of the collected residual
quantity!
NOTE
Close the connection with the covering cap
again each time it has been opened!
