11 Optional equipment

11.1 MiniDrill

MiniDrill

The machine can be equipped with a MiniDrill in addition to increase the impact
force and to save additional passes.

Two versions are available:

MiniDrill G&F

With the Grain&Fertilizer version, the product in the hoppers of the machine and in
the MiniDrill are mixed in the air flow and jointly placed in the soil.

For example, when sowing rape the MiniDrill can be filled with seed and both ma-
chine hoppers with fertiliser to reduce the filling times.

MiniDrill PPF

With this version, the MiniDrill is used to carry along and placing a third product,
such as micro-granular compound, catch crops, or slug pellets.

The third product from the MiniDrill is spread to the field surface via impact plates.
This version has its own pneumatic system consisting of an additional distributor
tower and its own fan.

The MiniDrill PPF provides the Focus with the capability to place three products pre-
cisely in different seed horizons.

Follow the pertaining operating instructions for the settings on the MiniDrill.

11.2 Material flow monitoring

The seed material flow sensors allow monitoring up to 120 seed and fertiliser hoses.
The sensors are connected in series, and the numbers indicate the order. In case of
an alarm, these sensor numbers help when troubleshooting the hoses.

If the monitored hoses are also fitted with flaps for the tram line control, these num-
bers must also be entered in a list on the terminal in the menu for tram line rhythm.
Refer to the operating instructions of the drill controls.

11.3 Pre-emergence markers

The pre-emergence markers mark the tram lines before the seed grows. They can
also be subsequently mounted to the coulter brackets.

The coulter brackets are hydraulically lifted and electrically activated by the tram line
control system.

The cutting angle of the coulter discs can be adjusted to suit the soil conditions and
the requested marker depth by rotating the disc angle.
