Setting Rolling Baskets:
1. It is recommended to operate the rolling basket finishing system in a Float position at all times,
rather than continuous pressure. Continuous hydraulic down pressure may cause the rolling
baskets to raise the rear gang of the machine out of the ground during operation, hindering
performance and field finish. Lower rolling baskets to the ground and switch the SCV to run in
Float position for best machine performance and finish.
CAUTION! ROLLING BASKETS CANNOT BE OPERATED WHEN TOUCHING THE GROUND WITH
HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT IN NUETRAL POSITION. PREMATURE FAILURE MAY OCCUR TO BASKET
COMPONENTS AND WILL VOID FACTORY WARRANTY!
2. Raise machine

and fold SCV to rephase the lift cylinders.
3. Lower machine until all cylinder movements stop.
4. Run machine slowly at set depth and adjust the front hitch tilt cylinder so machine tracks straight,
(see Tracking ).
5. Increase operation to desired speed and make fine adjustments as necessary for tracking and
depth settings.
Leaving Field:
1. Stop machine and fully extend lift cylinders (1) . Remove soil buildup from machine.
2. Retract finishing system to highest raised position.
3. Install yellow safety stops (x2) to rear transport axle and all depth stops to front hitch cylinder.
Maintenance:
There is little maintenance required to the Rolling Baskets. The bearings must be installed correctly to
the baskets and frame to minimize side load and premature bearing failure. The bearings and stub shaft
may be shimmed accordingly. Illustrations below indicate proper shimming technique.
