Finishing Line Controller Screen Descriptions

Setting - General(1) Screen - Part 2

Block:

Any reprinting will reprint whole blocks.

For example, if a job includes five blocks, if 

a sheet in the third block jams, the system 

will not reprint the sheets for the first two 

blocks that were successfully stacked. 

(These first two blocks will be delivered to 

the uncompleted conveyor.)

Sheet:  Any reprinting will reprint by sheet. Only 

the jammed sheet is reprinted.

Job retention period

If a job has not been run for this set period, it is 
deleted from the Completed jobs list, and it is 
displayed in red in the Pending jobs list and in the 
Held job list. Default is 7 days.

Password

You can change the administrator password that is 
necessary to enter the Setting screen.  
Default is “1111”.

Job Waiting Time

After the job is completed, the line will be stopped if 
the barcode of the next job is not received within the 
time entered here.

Language Selection

The language used on the display can be changed.

3 

Unit Selection

The units used for the values displayed on all of the 
screens can be set to mm or inches.

Printer

Select the desktop printer used to print the reprint list.

5 

Error recovery 

During reprint, do you want to reprint by the sheet, 
by the stack or by the block.

Stack:

Any reprinting will reprint whole stacks.

For example, if a job includes five blocks, if a 

sheet in the third block jams, the system will 

reprint the whole stack containing the first two 

blocks that were successfully stacked and also 
the last two blocks that have not been fed yet.
