Operation method
There are the following types of operation method.
(1) Internal control
The operation is controlled according to the internal time settings specified in the meter.
(2) Schedule (interval measurement)
In this mode, the operation is performed according to the specified schedule.
Other than measurement, the stopping and cleaning operations can also interrupt the
operation.
Specify the daily or weekly measurement schedule.
The measurement start time can also be specified.
(3) Repeat (repeat measurement)
In this mode, the measurement interval can be selected from 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12, and 24
hours.
Measurement is performed at the specified interval from the measurement start time.
(4) External control

Remote contact
The operation is controlled according to the external contact input into the meter.

Remote communication
The operation is controlled according to the communication signal input.
For details on the commands, refer to “ Modbus” (page 161).
(5) Level
While the measurement start terminal is short-circuited, the operation is performed in the
measurement mode selected by the internal control. When the contact opens, the meter will
enter a standby state after the current sequence is completed.
(6) Pulse
Use this mode when you wish to control every measurement by the external input.
When the specified terminal is short-circuited, the operation assigned to the terminal will be
started.
