After Measurement

insing the electrode 

Make sure that no dirt and other foreign matters have 
adhered to the electrode before measurement. 
If dirt and other foreign matters have adhered to the 
electrode, rinse the electrode as described in the following 
procedure. 

1

Rinse the electrode with pure water. 

2

Wipe off the moisture. 

Wipe off the moisture using soft and clean lint-free paper or cloth.

If the ion selective membrane is rubbed severely to remove 
the moisture, the ion selective membrane may tear or static 
electricity may be generated, resulting in a measurement 
errors. Press the cloth against the ion selective membrane 
lightly so as to soak up the water.
