Instructions for Installing LED
Off-Raod Lights
WARNING: Please check your state and local laws before
installing this work light product. Every state/province has
different policies and procedures in place regarding aftermarket
vehicle accessories. This installation is recommended to be
performed by a licensed professional. Improper installation
will void all warranties. Please read the following instructions
thoroughly before installing this LED off-road light.
Light Operation
Prior to installation, inspect and check the operation of this
LED light to ensure that it is functioning properly. When testing,
use caution not to look directly at the light, as it is extremely
bright and can damage your eyes. See polarity chart (figure 1)
1. Connect the positive (+) wire to the positive (+) terminal
on the battery
2. Connect the negative (-) wire to the negative (-) terminal on
the battery or to any other good bare metal ground surface
3. If light turns on, continue mounting the light
Mounting the Light
1. Using provided hardware; attach the mounting
bracket(s) to the light. Do not overtighten as you will
need to adjust the light in the final step
2. Identify the area where you would like to mount the
light and using the provided screws, bolts and washers,
securely mount the bracket(s) to the vehicle
3. If using vehicle specific brackets, follow the
manufacturer’s recommendations
Powering the Light – Direct to
Battery
There are several options by which to power your work light
• The first option is using a NVision
®
NV3015 wiring
harness. This harness comes with quick-connect plugs
and necessary relay, fuse and switch
• Another option is to use the NVision
®
NV622 remote
controlled management system to speed up installation;
avoid drilling through the firewall for routing the wires
and making a hole on the dashboard for a switch
• For instructions on either of the above mentioned
options, please go to our website

NOTE 1: A toggle switch is needed to turn the light on/off
as well as an in-line fuse within 12
"
of the power source. Be
sure that the toggle switch and the fuse are rated for the
correct amperage
NOTE 2: When extending the lead power wires to the light,
it is highly recommended to solder the connections and
then to heat-shrink over the soldered connections (neither
the wire extensions, nor the materials for splicing the wires
are included in the kit, but are available at most hardware or
auto-parts stores)
1. Disconnect vehicle battery
2. Connect the positive (+) wire to the positive (+) output
post of the toggle switch and run the appropriate gauge
wire (18-gauge at a minimum) from the input post of the
toggle switch to the positive (+) terminal on the battery
3. Connect the ground wire to the negative (-) terminal on
the battery or any other good bare metal ground surface
4. Reconnect vehicle battery
5. Flip the toggle switch to the “on” position to test your light
for full functionality
6. If applicable) To make a selection between color patterns
or beam type, simply turn switch on and off multiple times
until the desired function turns on
Reminders
1. Work under the specified voltage DC 12-24 V
2. The light becomes hot under continuous use. Do not
remove or touch the casing for at least 30 minutes after
turning the lamp off
3. Keep heat-sink fins clean and free of debris to maintain
air flow
