3. Before completely inserting the 2.4GHz Radio, connect the Antenna Cable to the 2.4GHz
Radio, using the port(s) indicated below:
Note: Radio cards for single antenna units may have the unused antenna port covered
with tape.
The internal antenna is a dual (diversity) antenna.
Cisco Radio Card
Hold the radio card with the Cisco logo label facing up. Connect the antenna cable(s) as
follows:
•
Cisco radio with single antenna – Connect antenna cable to right port, as shown
below.
•
Cisco radio with dual antennas – Connect antenna cables to both ports.

Symbol 11Mb Radio Card
Hold the radio card with the Symbol logo label facing up. Connect the antenna cable(s) as
follows:
• Symbol 11Mb radio with single antenna – Connect antenna cable to Port A (left
port), as shown below.

Symbol 11Mb radio with dual antennas – Connect antenna cables to both ports.
