VX6 Reference Guide

Keyboard 

Access: 

Start | Settings | Control Panel | Keyboard Icon 

Set key repeat delay and key repeat rate. 

Factory Default Settings

 

Repeat Enable 
Delay Short 
Rate Slow 
Key Map 

Default (Windows CE 5.0) 
0409 (Windows CE .NET) 

There is no change from general desktop PC Keyboard Properties options. Adjust the settings and 
click the OK box to save the changes. The changes take effect immediately. 

When new key maps are added to the registry, they will appear in the Key Map dropdown list on 
the Keyboard Panel. 

These values do not affect virtual keyboard taps.
