6.9.1
To View Active Alarms
Active alarms can be viewed in three ways:
•
From the
System Status (Home)
screen, select the flashing red bell
Alarm
icon.
•
From the
System Status (Home)
screen navigation bar, select the
Active Events
icon, then the
Filter
icon and then
select
Alarm
from the popup menu.
•
From the
System Status
screen navigation bar, select the
Inputs
icon, then the
Filter
icon and select
Alarm
from the
popup menu.
The screen will display a list of all the input channels that have active alarms, starting with the most recent event.
Unacknowledged alarms will flash, acknowledged ones will not flash.
Note
: The display shows the channel ID, location tag and the time of the alarm. All alarm levels will be shown if more than
one alarm level has been triggered on the same channel.

6.9.2
To Acknowledge an Active Alarm
An active alarm can be acknowledged from the controller in three ways:
•
Select the
Accept
button on the front panel of the TPPR Controller for >0.5 s. This will acknowledge
all active
events, including faults and warnings
.
•
From the
Inputs
screen, select the channel and select
Acknowledge
from the popup menu. This will acknowledge
all
active events for that channel only
.
•
From the
Active Events
screen, select the alarm and select
Acknowledge
from the popup menu. This will
acknowledge
only the selected alarm
.
Acknowledging an alarm silences the buzzer and the alarm icon stops flashing, but latched alarms are not automatically
reset.
Note
: The Alarm Update function modifies the operation of Output channels when events are acknowledged. Refer to the
description of Alarm Update.
