DC Power Output
The MCU has a 24 V DC power output which can be used for external power. The output current
should be less than 1 A. A resettable fuse is built into the interface to avoid any damage caused from
a short circuit. The interface has DC power output whether it's powered by the main power supply or
a backup power supply.
The connection terminal is provided in the package, a cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm

1.5mm

is recommended.
Power Input
The main power interface with a resettable fuse is used to connect to AC power source. T10 AH /
250 V fuse is recommended.
Backup power interface is used to connect to a 24 V DC power source.
The connector is provided in the package, a 2-pin cable with a cross-section of 4mm

is
recommended.
RK-ZONE8 Zone Expander
Audio Input
The RK-ZONE8 zone expander has a line input to connect to external audio devices. It should be
used only if there is a CPU failure on the MCU or if the zone expander is in standalone mode. The
level of audio input should be less than 1 V.
Note:
The audio signal of the line input can be only played on the speaker lines connected with the same
device; it is not available to broadcast to the whole system.
