These instructions cover how to install the replacement PSU
PCB assembly and cover (VCS-PSU-N) in to a Vigilon Compact
panel, either COMPACT-24 (non networkable) or
COMPACT-24-N (networkable) panel or Nano panel (NANO-24)
. The package contains:
1 - Replacement PSU PCB assembly
1 - Replacement Cover
Not used on Nano
panel
To replace the PSU in a Vigilon Compact panel
&
Isolate the mains power supply to the Vigilon Compact
panel.
Removal
a.
Open the outer and inner doors of the panel.
b.
Disconnect the mains cable from the mains terminals

at
PSU PCB assembly and unplug the battery circuit cable
from connector

.
c.
Remove the two nuts and washers from the panel
l
(keep
for later use)
and lift out the cover
m
or

.
d.
Disconnect the ribbon cable
n
.
e.
Remove the two screws and washers that secure the PSU
assembly
o
(keep for later use)
and lift out the PSU PCB
assembly

or
r
from the clinching standoffs.
Replacement
a.
Fit the
Replacement PSU PCB assembly
r
on to the two
self clinching standoffs.
&
Ensure that the Replacement PSU PCB assembly is
secured using screws and washers at the two fixing points

.
b.
Reconnect the ribbon cable
n
between Replacement PSU
PCB assembly and MCB assembly.
c.
Align the
Replacement cover
q
with the two fixings on the
panel side. Slide the cover down and secure it using the
nuts and washers
l
.
d.
Reconnect the mains cable to mains terminals
j
on the
Replacement PSU PCB assembly.
e.
Reconnect the battery circuit to connector
k
on
Replacement PSU PCB assembly .
f.
Close the inner and outer doors of the panel.
