I/O Network

In the I/O network used to connect the PLC-CPM to expansion I/O
racks via the EPM, two network topologies are supported in the
network: Ring and Star.

Up to 144 I/O modules can be configured. Rationale: 12 racks x
12 modules per rack.

Up to 4608, channels can be configured. Rationale: 12 racks x 12
modules per rack x 32 channels per module (applicable for certain
I/O module types only)
