Paging
Turning On the Pager
Inserting the Alkaline battery (AA) will turn the pager on.
If the battery is already installed, press for 3 seconds.
After a short time, the screen will go blank to preserve battery power.
Any key can be pressed to wake up the pagers screen.
Read Messages
The pager will display a new message when it is received. To read stored message press and
then use the and to scroll through all of the messages.
Backlight
Press and hold any key for 2 seconds to turn on the backlight.
Press and hold any key for 2 seconds again to turn off the backlight.
Text Zoom
To enlarge text on the pager, enter the
Settings Menu
by pressing
Press until
ZOOM
is shown.
Press to confirm.
Power Off*
Enter the
Settings Menu
by pressing
Press until
TURN PAGER OFF
is shown.
Press twice to confirm.
Vibrate Only Mode
Enter the
Settings Menu
by pressing
Press until
VIBRATE MODE
is shown.
Press then press until
VIBRATE ONLY ALERT
is shown.
Press to confirm.
Delete Messages
Whilst you are viewing a message that you wish to delete, press followed by until
DELETE
MESSAGE
is shown. Press the key twice to confirm the message deletion.
*Note: Only applicable to standard pagers. Equality Act (previously known as DDA) pagers need to
have their batteries removed to power them off.
