CN80G Mobile Computer Series User Guide

Smart Card Reader

Apriva Guard for Android provides the following option for Smart Card Readers:

•

Gemalto

(default) – For use with USB Gemalto card readers, such as customized

snap-on readers from device manufacturers.

About Batch Configuration

Honeywell Batch mobile computers are manufactured without RF transmission
capabilities. Once a device is manufactured as a Batch device it has no capability
of any RF transmission. There is no firmware or software that can be added to the
device that will allow it to transmit an RF signal.

CN80G-L0N-6EN241F – 4 designates Batch Configuration

Note:

RF transmission cannot be turned on in the field accidentally or purposely.

Select a Touch Screen Profile to Optimize Performance

Optimize screen interactions by selecting a touch screen profile designed
specifically for your use case. For example, if you wear gloves, set the touch screen
profile to Glove use enhanced for the best touch screen response.

Note:

Maximum glove thickness of 2 mm (0.08 inches) for touch screen response.
