Air Cleaner Outer Cover Removal

Refer to

Safety Precautions

on page 115.

The air cleaner outer cover must be removed to replace the air
cleaner and to add the engine oil.

Removal

1. Turn the knobs 1/4 clockwise or 1/4 counterclockwise to the

unlock positions.

2. Remove the prong from the grommet.
3. Remove the air cleaner outer cover upward.

Installation

1. Insert the hooks into the slots.
2. Insert the prong into the grommet.
3. Turn the knobs 1/4 counterclockwise or 1/4 clockwise to the lock
