Air Cleaner Service

FOAM AIR FILTER

AIR CLEANER CASE

LATCH TABS

A dirty air filter will restrict air flow to the carburetor. To prevent
carburetor malfunction, service the air cleaner regularly. Service more
frequently when operating the generator in extremely dusty areas.

Open the top cover to access the air cleaner.

Release four latch tabs from the air cleaner cover, and remove the
cover.

Remove the foam air filter from the cover.

Remove the paper air filter from the air cleaner case.

Never run the generator without the air filter. Rapid engine wear will
result.
