Servicing Your Honda

Subframe

Removal
1. Remove the seat (page 33).
2. Remove the right and left mufflers (page 112).
3. Remove the seat support base mounting bolts

(1), washers (2), and collars (3).

4. Remove the seat support base (4).

5. Lift the seat support base (4) and hang it to the

left of the subframe (5).

6. Disconnect the breather tube (6) and IAT

sensor connector (7).

7. Loosen the air cleaner connecting tube clamp

screw (8).

8. Remove the subframe lower bolts (9) and

upper bolts (10).
Remove the subframe (5) while disconnecting
the air cleaner connecting tube (11).
