Ignition Cut-off System
IMU (Inertia Measurement Unit) sensor
automatically stops the engine and fuel pump if
the vehicle falls over. To reset the IMU, you
must turn the ignition switch to the (Off)
position and back to the (On) position before
the engine can be restarted.
If a failure of the IMU is detected, the engine
and fuel pump will not stop automatically when
the vehicle falls over.
Assist-slipper Clutch System
CRF1100A/A2/A4
The assist-slipper clutch system helps to prevent
the rear tyre from locking up when the
deceleration of your vehicle produces a strong
engine braking effect. It also makes the clutch
lever operation feel lighter.
Use only MA classification engine oil for your
vehicle. Using engine oil other than MA
classification oil could result in damage to the
assist-slipper clutch system.
Throttle by Wire System
This model is equipped with a Throttle by Wire
System.
Do not put magnetized items or items
susceptible to magnetic interference near the
right handlebar switches.
