Your Honda has been designed
primarily to carry passengers and
their luggage. You can use it to tow a
trailer if you carefully observe the
load limits, use the proper equipment,
and follow the guidelines in this
section.

The total weight of the hitch and
trailer (with/without brakes) plus
its luggage must not exceed the
maximum towing weight. See page

.

The ‘‘towbar downward load’’
should never exceed 75 kg
(165 lbs)/60 kg (132 lbs) on
Australian model. This is the
amount of weight the trailer puts
on the hitch when it is fully-loaded.

For a trailer weights of less than
750 kg (1,653 lbs)/600 kg (1,323
lbs) on Australian model, as a rule
of thumb, the towbar downward
load should be 10 percent of the
total trailer package.
