With the shift boot
:
6.
Remove the change knob by rotating counter-
clockwise.
7.
Keep rotating the boot nut counterclockwise
until the boot nut gets free from the change
lever.
8.
Open the lid. Gently pry up on the front of the
trim ring to release the four clips, and remove
the trim ring.

9.
Wrap the shop towel around the parking brake
lever.
10. Remove the four caps and the four bolts.
Release the two retaining clips and then unplug
the three vehicle connectors to remove the rear
console.

11.
With the shift boot
:
Wrap a shop towel around the top of the
change lever.
12. Remove the four clips, and then the front cen-
ter console by releasing the six retaining clips.
