Tips for sanding
13.4.1
Surface sanding on sanding belt
For surface sanding, press the workpiece gently with both hands against the sanding belt and the
safety fence. To achieve a better sanding result, you can move the workpiece gently back and
forth.
13.4.2
End sanding on sanding belt
For end sanding, bring the sanding aggregate in vertical position and mount the worktable. Hold
the workpiece firmly with both hands and press it gently against the sanding belt. Therefore move
the workpiece gently back and forth.
13.4.3
Sanding curved edges
For sanding curves, hold the workpiece firmly with both hands and exert slight pressure on the
sanding belt. Grinding internal rounding only at the front deflection roller.
13.4.4
Round parts with sanding disc
For sanding round parts, hold the workpiece firmly with both hands and exert slight pressure only
on the left, down running side (otherwise there is a risk of thrown workpieces) of the sanding disc.
13.4.5
End sanding and mitre sanding with sanding disc
For end sanding and mitre sanding use the mitre auger and work like the capture before.
13.4.6
Dustextraction
The connecting stub for the dustextration is below the table.

A T T E N T I O N
Don’t clean or do maintenance on the machine while it is still connected
to the power supply:
Damages to machine and injuries might occur due to unintended
switching on of the machine!
Therefore: Switch the machine off and disconnect it from the power
supply be-fore any maintenance works or cleaning is carried out
The machine does not require extensive maintenance. If malfunctions and defects occur, let it be
serviced by trained persons only.
Before first operation as well as later on every 100 operation hours you should lubricate all con-
necting parts (if required, remove beforehand with a brush all swarfs and dust).
Check regularly the condition of the security stickers. Replace them if required.
Check regularly the condition of the saw band and the saw band guide.
The good condition and perfect adjustment of the guiding rollers is essential for a smooth band
guidance and a clean cut.
Store the machine in a closed, dry location.
N O T I C E
Clean your machine regularly after every usage – it prolongs the machines lifespan and is a
pre-requisite for a safe working environment.
Repair jobs shall be performed by respectively trained professionals only!
