12.1
Checking the scope of delivery
Upon receipt of the delivery, check that all parts are complete and in order. Immediately report
any damage or missing parts to your dealer or the shipping company. Visible transport damage
must also be noted immediately on the delivery note in accordance with the provisions of the
warranty, otherwise the goods shall be deemed duly accepted..
12.2
Workstation
Choose a suitable location for the machine. Observe the safety requirements. The floor must be
firm, level, resistant to vibration and capable of supporting at least twice the net weight of the
machine.
The selected location must ensure a suitable connection to the electrical grid. The necessary
distance in front of and behind the machine must be provided for the feeding of long workpieces.
In addition, a distance of at least 0.8 metres must be ensured around the machine.
12.3
Transport / Unloading the machine
Use suitable lifting and transport aids according to the weight for unloading or transport of the
device and observe any national legal regulations with regard to the handling of loads (e.g.
Worker Protection Act, Worker Protection Ordinance or Maternity Protection Act)!
Ensure that any lifting equipment used (sling, sled, lift, pallet truck, forklift, etc.) is in perfect
condition!
12.4
Setting up the tool
N O T I C E
Before initial operation, remove the preservative applied without painting to protect
the parts from corrosion. This can be done with the usual solvents. Never use water
or nitro solvent!
In principle, the machine is delivered fully assembled. All you have to do is adjust the saw blade
guide unit, fix the workpiece stop and set the desired cutting angle.
