12 OPERATION
Please check the product contents immediately after receipt for any eventual transport damage or
missing parts. Claims from transport damage or missing parts must be placed immediately after
initial machine receipt and unpacking before putting the machine into operation. Please
understand that later claims cannot be accepted anymore.
12.1 Operation instructions
W A R N I N G
 The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full battery capacity,
completely charge the battery in the battery charger before using for the first
time.
 Never remove the battery while the machine is running.
 Switch the gear adjustment only when the machine is at a complete stop.
 Always push the gear adjustmen and the mode adjustment through to the
stop.
 Before any work on the machine (e. g., maintenance, tool change, etc.) as
well as during transport and storage, set the rotational direction switch to the
centre position.
12.2 Operation
Machine to be operated in a perfect state only. Inspect the device visually every time it is to be
used. Check in particular the safety equipment, electrical controls, electric cables and screwed
connection for damage and if tightened properly. Replace any damaged parts before operating
the device.
12.2.1 Charging process
 Plug the power cord in the socket on the charger.
 Insert the mains plug.
 Insert battery into the charger as far as stop.
 The LED flashes green and the battery is charged.
 When the battery is fully charged, the LED lights green.
 Charging time appr. 60 min
 To remove, press the release latch and pull out the battery.
 Pull out the mains plug.
12.2.2 Inserting/replacing the battery
 Press the charged battery into the power tool until it clicks into place.
 To remove, press the release latch and pull out the battery
12.2.3 Setting the rotational direction
The rotational direction switch is used to reverse the rotational direction of the machine.
However, this is not possible with the ON-OFF-switch activated.
Rotate clockwise: Move the rotational direction switch up to the stop into left position
Rotate anticlockwise: Move the rotational direction switch up to the stop into right position .
