Service and maintenance
After operation
Wash the sweeper roller. This will increase its service life
and make it easier to detect any leakage or other faults.
Inspect the machine and make sure that the hoses, brush
guards, springs and machine body are not damaged.
Check also for any oil leakage.
Lubrication
At least once a year the bar tube bearing (figure 17) and
any lateral movement device must be greased. Clean the
nipple and lubricate until grease appears.
Replacing the brush
Raise the supports into the operating position and lower
the unit so that the roller is resting on the ground.
Removing the roller brush
1. Undo the attachments for the hydraulic hoses on the
bar tube (figure 18).
2. Remove the four fixing screws at the end (figure 19).
3. Prevent the bar tube from flying up by keeping your
foot on the plate of the support and carefully lifting
away the end (figure 20).
4. Unfold the roller brush from the bar tube and slide the
roller off the carrier housing at the other end.
Risk of crushing.
